AI summary: Solution Architect designs enterprise integration architectures, leads client workshops, mentors delivery teams, and advises on AI-enabled integration strategies for large organizations.
Our Why
Datacom works with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in people’s lives and help organisations use the power of tech to innovate and grow.
The Role
As a Solution Architect specialising in Integration, you are the face of Datacom’s integration capability. This is not a back-office delivery role. You will work directly with some of the region’s most significant organisations — shaping ideas, running discovery workshops, influencing architecture decisions, and translating complex business problems into elegant, scalable solutions.
You know how to zoom out to see the big picture, then zoom in when the detail matters. You’re equally comfortable leading a pre-sales conversation with a C-suite client as you are rolling up your sleeves to bring a solution to life. And as a senior team member, you’ll mentor others and help drive the strategic direction of our practice — including how AI is reshaping the way we design and deliver integration solutions.
If you thrive on complex challenges, energise in front of senior stakeholders, and get excited about where integration and AI are heading — this role was built for you!

We have managed to maintain a dynamic, agile, small business feel that is often diluted in larger organisations of our size. It’s our people that give Datacom its unique culture and energy that you can feel from the moment you meet with us. At Datacom, you’ll work with some of the largest and most complex integration challenges across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll be trusted, supported, and encouraged to shape solutions — not just deliver them. You’ll also be part of a team actively investing in AI‑powered modernisation and intelligent platforms, with space to grow your influence and thought leadershi
We care about our people and provide a range of perks such as social events, chill-out spaces, remote working, flexi-hours and professional development courses to name a few. You’ll have the opportunity to learn, develop your career, connect and bring your true self to work. You will be recognised and valued for your contributions and be able to do your work in a collegial, flat-structured environment. We operate at the forefront of technology to help Australia and New Zealand’s largest enterprise organisations explore possibilities and solve their greatest challenges - so you will never run out of interesting new challenges and opportunities.
